Sunita Foundation (SF) is a non-profit organization established in 2019 by survivors of human trafficking. The organization was founded and led by Ms. Sunita Danuwar, a globally recognized Trafficking in Person (TIP) Hero-2018. Sunita Foundation works to prevent trafficking, protect the rights of survivors, and empower at-risk women and children to live dignified, independent lives.
Sunita Foundation (SF) is now seeking applications from qualified and dedicated Nepali citizen for the below position.
1. Position- Admin Assistant
Duty Station: Kathmandu
General job description:
The Admin Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of the office. The role involves documentation, coordination with government offices, and support to program and finance teams. The position requires visits to local government offices and occasional participation in program activities and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general office duties such as filing, typing, photocopying, binding, and scanning documents.
- Handle official correspondence including preparing letters, memos, minutes.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing system within the office.
- Coordinate and correspond with local government offices for organization registration, renewal, and compliance-related processes.
- Visit government offices and relevant agencies as required for official work.
- Follow up with different departments and stakeholders for necessary documentation and approvals.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and follow-ups.
- Support finance and admin functions including record-keeping and documentation.
- Participate in program activities, meetings, and events as required.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mails, couriers, and official communications.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelors running
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience (experience in NGO/INGO preferred).
- Must have proficiency in Nepali typing.
- Good knowledge of administrative procedures and government processes in Nepal.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel).
- Willingness to travel within and outside Kathmandu when required.
- Must have a valid driving license and own a two-wheeler vehicle.
