Sunita Foundation successfully formed and mobilized two Child and Adolescent Clubs at Nuwakot.
We organized a focused training for Child and Adolescent Clubs in the community of Nuwakot to address some of the most harmful social practices still affecting many lives.
Understanding that child marriage and violence remain major current issues in Nepal especially in this community, we began our awareness work by focusing on these two urgent problems.
The training helped young members understand the root causes, risks, and how they can raise awareness among peers and families, and whole community. This was the first step in building local youth leadership for long-term, community-based change.
